"To say Steve is the perfect real estate agent sounds trite, but the accolade is warranted. We've now used him twice and give him perfect marks. He is extremely knowledgeable about Oak Park, having lived here his whole life and been its top agent for years. He is a very good communicator - he reads your full emails (imagine that), responds very promptly (rare), and explains everything as slowly as needed. Finally, Steve gets things done and never settles when other agents, lenders, photographers, or lawyers drop the ball. For example, our stagers had to cancel the day before the install because the designer had a family emergency. Oh well, tough luck, right? Not with Steve! He got them to provide a back-up the next day. Then, because the photographer couldn't do the next day, Steve took phenomenal listing photos and got them processed himself. Instead of a 1-2 week delay, our property was listed the very first weekend and he got an open house done on that Sunday, during some of the first warm weather or the season. We got info about showings via a great app in real time and he provided feedback from buyers' agents all the time so we felt in the loop about how it showed. After some comments about paint spots by agents, Steve paid for and set up some touch up. He even handled the lawn care after we moved out and no longer had a mower in the garage. As we got offers, Steve was very helpful about the negotiation process without being leading and allowing us to make good I decisions ourselves. Neither my wife nor I can really think of a single way Steve could be a better agent, and we consider ourselves somewhat picky about amazing service. You basically never encounter it."

He did great investigative work when we tried to establish the fair asking price for my home. He also was a great guide when were at the negotiating phase of the process. "Steve walked me through the entire house buying process - explaining all of the details, allowing me to ask many questions along the way. It was tremendous to have his knowledge of houses and the neighborhoods as we walked through each one. Since I was selling a house in a different suburb, he spent a day meeting with us and showing us houses so I could get a sense of what I was 'moving in to'.

As soon as I had a solid offer on my old house, I gave Steve the green light to look and he accommodated us around my time, knowing that my time was sensitive due to work and travelling. I narrowed down the search to 2 houses, put in an offer on 1 house and left for a 2 week trip overseas. Steve kept us up to date on the negotiations throughout our travels and we ultimately came to an agreement on the first house. He continued to stay on top of the transaction throughout our trip by helping with the inspection, working with the realtor that was selling my old house, the attorney and also staying in touch with my lender, etc. Ultimately, my sale and purchase happened the same day and I give Steve the credit for making it all happen - as stress free and smooth as it possibly could have been. I appreciated having Steve available through each step and would highly recommend him."
